The Simply Place

I learn a lot here. Not only about english, but also about life. How to deal with people, how to manage people, brotherhood, caring, sharing, courtesy, and the most important is you learn about yourself.

Here, I got so many friends. It is awesome when you have some friends from any background. Different age, hometown, education, job, even differ in dreams and goals. It is really awesome. There are teacher, chef, accountant, technician, scientist, doctor, photographer, traveler, event organizer, businessman, linguist, designer graphis, and soooo many other jobs, or even they just graduated from elementary school, junior high school, or senior high school, they are still awesome, they have a great dreams and also with all of their past. Each of us has our own story to tell. So I learned that everyone is special.

Actually, my first plan was just stay in one month. But something hold me. I was offered to stay longer here. It is one of my opportunity to develop my self because I think that this place is a good one to grow, if you want and utilize your opportunity. Beside, this place taught me, make me realize that  life is so much unpredictable. Sometimes, maybe something happens doesn’t turn out as we planned. May our plan is good but believe that God’s plan is better. I do learn about phrase ‘Man proposes, God disposes’.

But recently, the atmosphere in here is not really conducive. Maybe because so many people already go home then caused a sadness and just several people still stay here until the end of this period, moreover now is nearly to ied fitri.

I know this week is gonna be my last. Me and my friends is gonna separated. Sometimes, when we realise that the day when we’ll go home is near, we just pretend that  we don’t know about the date. Try to ignore knowing the date. Vain effort, I know. But just try for not to ruin our daily happiness now, even we can’t always pretend that we’ll still together.  Because we know so well that every ‘Hello’ must be end up with ‘Goodbye’.  Hard, but true. It is the second lesson that commonly happen in here. People come and people go. This is the part of dancing. We face it, every two weeks or one month, because this place is like haven. So many people come and go.  We (the old members) are familiar with introduction and parting. But now, we as the old members will undergo this phase.

Just in a few days, I’ll come back home. Happy because I’ll meet my family. Sad because I’ll be separated with my friends, my second family.

So many lessons that I learned here. This place is just great, and the people also. It’s hard
even just stay in a few months here, but it feels like home.

Thank you God, I am really thankful because You gave me an opportunity to came here, met many people and making friends with them and learn. So yes, I am blessed.

If Victor Hugo, the well-known author of Les Miserable, said that “life is voyage” then my beloved teacher here said, “Every place that you visit is school and every person that you meet is teacher.” :))

*just trying to posted my blog in english, sorry if my english is still a mess, hehe, still learning* :p
